Moby Max

This is an excellent resource that we use in our classroom!

Log in as a student, type in George Welch Elementary in the box for school name.  Don't type in a school code.  After clicking on find, you should see a drop down menu where you select our school.  The username and password page should come up. The username and password are the same.  Please email me at kimberlyroach@opsb.net if you need log-in information.    

Accelerated Reader

BrainPOP Jr.

Created by teachers and educators, BRAINPOPJR.COM bases its lessons on national standards and includes an incredibly wide range of subjects, from telling the time to Internet safety. The printable activities and games include many creative learning concepts and, unlike a lot of early education sites, go way beyond coloring pages. The site's short, creative videos center around two good-natured cartoon characters, Annie and Moby. Each video is followed up with activities, games, and quizzes. Please email me for log-in information.

ReadWorks

ReadWorks is a nonprofit that provides educators with thousands of free, high-quality nonfiction and fiction articles with questions and activities. Parents & guardians can create their own free account to help their child stay on track during distance learning.

 

Storyline Online

Storyline Online is a children's literacy website created by the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, which provides free storytelling videos and resources for parents and teachers to foster a love of reading in children.

Teach Your Monster to Read

The series takes children on a journey through the graphemes; rehearsing recognition, blending and segmenting with each one. Children rehearse tricky words, plus reading whole sentences and captions. Can be played independently by children either in school or at home.
