TIPS FOR LEARNING FROM HOME

Parents,

     I hope everyone is healthy and safe.  I thought I would give you some ideas that might help you and your child, while you all are learning from home.

1.WRANGLER FOLDER:  There are several pages that can help you:  SIGHT WORD CHART/COUNTING CHART/LETTER RECOGNITION PAGE/NONSENSE WORD PAGE.  *ALSO REMEMBER TO REVIEW  SIGHT WORD FLASHCARDS AND TO HAVE YOUR CHILD READ THE WEEKLY TAKEHOME BOOKS.

2.  MORNING FUN!!!:  You will find this section on my George Welch page.  It has several fun songs to start your day.  I KNOW YOUR CHILD WILL ENJOY THESE!!!

3.  AT HOME LEARNING ASSIGNMENTS:  You will find this section on my George Welch page.  It will take you to the weeks assignments on i-ready for Reading and Math. (REMEMBER TO USE YOUR CHILD’S LOG IN INFORMATION THAT I SHARED WITH YOU)

4.  AT HOME PACKETS (PRINTED MATERIALS):  These packets will be available for pick up April 14-April 17 at West Ridge Middle School from 8-12.  These packets will also be available for you to print. It will either be posted on OPSB Home page or George Welch Home Page.  *IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO A PRINTER, PLEASE PRINT A PACKET.  THIS WILL SAVE THE PACKETS FROM THE PARISH FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A PRINTER.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND UNDERSTANDING!
